I believe the rack would be improved with slightly taller sides and some additional weight to prevent the unit from tipping over.

This stand exceeded my expectations. I got it to keep field hockey and lacrosse sticks in the garage. I thought they might tip it over, but it's actually very sturdy and stands solidly on the ground.

I actually used it to store my son's toy swords. It serves the purpose, although it can be a little unstable. But overall, it's alright.
